Walhalla was built by King Ludwig. It is one of the many famous pieces of architecture funded by him, as a hall of fame so to speak. It’s right outside of Regensburg and has been something my husband and I have wanted to see for quite a while. We finally made it, and with friends! We also went to the famous Wurstkuchl, also known as the historic bratwurst kitchen. They are pretty much famous for their amazing sauerkraut and wurst. Then we got some ice cream! Who doesn’t love German Ice Cream?
